This month we will launch the IKS CMS early-adopters grant scheme. A  
kick-off event for this is scheduled for the week 10-14 May, so keep

The first year in IKS (2009) was devoted to community building and  
understanding requirements in the CMS sector, progress was made in  
five areas:

	• Two successful community workshops
	• Seven benchmark exercises for CMS providers
	• Open Source RTD in Semantic Search accessible on Google Code
	• Over 200 high-level application independent requirements for  
semantic CMS
	• A use case description for semantic CMS in ERP and Project  
Controlling
	• A use case description for equipping the “Ambient Bathroom” with  
semantic CMS

Thanks, once again, to all who attended IKS's Semantic Search workshop  
in Rome. Apologies that it has taken so long to get the content up  
online, we have been furiously editing video whilst trying to maintain  
other project commitments in the busy run-up to the holiday season.

Our main event, the Semantic Search Idol/Challenge for the most  
popular semantic search product, delivered some interesting results,  
and all of the workshop presentations and product demos can now be  
found below, along with some additional interviews with the key  
speakers and companies chosen to demonstrate..
