being organised by our partner University of St. Gallen.

IKS INVITES CMS VENDORS TO ONLINE SURVEY ABOUT SEMANTIC TECHNOLOGIES

The IKS Project invites all CMS vendors to take part in a survey for  
evaluating their product's general coverage of features and in  
particular with respect to semantic capabilities.

"Current CMS benchmarks are very diverse and only few of them give  
adequate coverage to novel semantic technologies which are being  
adopted in the market.", says Tobias Kowatsch of the Institute of  
Technology Management, University of St.Gallen, Switzerland - a  
consortium member of the IKS Project. "The online survey will allow us  
to assess the adoption and use of semantic technologies across CMS  
platforms."

The survey will take approximately 25 minutes to complete. The results  
will be published in a book by IKS entitled "Semantic Technologies in  
CMS". The book will be available in the first quarter of 2011 and is  
geared towards IT executives.
