Hi,
I hope we can settle this licensing question quickly to focus on the functional and technical question.
Our (Nuxeo) stand is that we don't want to use or spend time on something that has a strong copyleft license (the LGPL is OK, but not the GPL).
Given that the IKS project has adopted the Apache license, I think it would be the first choice, but of course the creators of the software are free to choose their own license. We just can't be involved if the license stays the GPL.
